Fan Art

Portrait of a Lady: This fanart uses pictures of one of my favorite dresses from the BBC adaptation of Eliot's Daniel Deronda. The dress is worn by Gwendolen Harleth (Romola Garai). Images are from my own screencaps.

First Sight: Perhaps I'm jumping a bit ahead of myself since Closer, isn't even out yet. But when you add how much I like Natalie (Portman) and Clive (Owen), plus how neat these images looked...I just couldn't help myself. ;) Images are from N-P.com and Outnow.ch.

Olympias: Angelina Jolie just looks simply amazing as a woman of Ancient Greece, I love her costumes (and the pet snakes), so I just had to create some kind of art using these pics. The images are from Outnow.Ch.

The End: A sort of twist of the movie and the mythology, though it will make even more sense to you if you have read the novelization of the movie. The lyrics are from the song 'Whisper' by Evanescence. Images from Outnow.ch.

Alone: This piece was made in an attempt to portray the loneliness that Anakin was victim to even when he had Padme. His abilities made him so different from others that nobody could truly understand him. Images from PW. Lyrics from the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.

My Happy Ending: Attack of Avril Lavigne's My Happy Ending! lol. Yes, that song again...it just seems to fit the relationship between Padme and Anakin so well. Images from my own screencaps and PW.

Senator Bana Breemu: Ever since I saw the first leaked Ep. III picture several monthes ago I've loved the looks of this character. She is simply elegant, and a recent hyperspace image prompted me to turn it into a piece of fan art. Images from SW.com.

Memories: Yet another art featuring lyrics (this time from Avril Lavigne's My Happy Ending), it is of Padmé in her yellow dress from the Meadow scene. I also used a Naboo Lake Retreat brush I made. Images from PW.

Fate Intertwined: The idea for this piece is really just that whatever Anakin did affected Padmé's life whether she had married him or not, the connection was just there and their marriage only strengthened it. Anakin becomes Vader, not Padme, but there is a little piece of Padmé that ends up there too. Images from PW and SW.com.

Terrible Love: This was based on a quote I saw somewhere that said that Padmé had begun to be afraid of Anakin and what he was becoming. This made me think more about the situation she was in and how she was truly trapped, on one side by her love for him, and on the other by her fear of what he had become. The phrase on the art was really the best way I could come up with to explain how she must have felt about him. Images from PW and SW.com.
