The Lass

This domain is named Stubborn Lass for good reason -- adjectives like stubborn, conceited, and solitary fit me all too well. That's not to say I don't get along with people, because I do, but thats only because there are some rather kind and patient people out there who forgive me my faults. ;)

I'm 18, 5'5", and altogether too proud of my ancestry (which is Irish with a bit of lowland Scot). I am passionate about history, mythology, and literature (not to mention my faith, which isn't quite the typical little set of beliefs). Obviously, web design is another little hobby that I devote way too much time (and money!) to. If you want to set off my temper (which is quite bad I'm shamefully happy to report) the quickest way is probably to get some vital (to me) fact about history/mythology/etc. wrong.

I speak English, obviously, and have a dreadfully poor understanding of Spanish and Latin. I really want to learn Gaeilge (Irish Gaelic), so hopefully that will be added soon to the list of languages I started to learn but never quite got good at. Who knows, I might figure it out enough to be actually decent at it. Then again, linguistics is so far from my strength its funny. You'll probably see me skip between American and British spellings, as there are some I like from each.

I've long, thick hair and an obsession with dying it at least once or twice a year (which, granted, isn't that often, but it's how crazy I go if I haven't dyed it in awhile that makes it an 'obsession'). Though it's naturally a medium/dark brown, it's also been black, auburn, brown with blonde highlights, and most recently a flame-like mix of yellow roots that fade into a dark auburn at the tips (see pic. lol).

"Kyrie Eleison"

This comes from the Greek phrase 'Kyrie eleison', meaning 'God have mercy'. At the time that my mother was pregnant with me one of her favorite songs was Kyrie by Mr. Mister. She had intended on naming me Kyra, which she had derived from Kyrie, but did not because my biological father didn't like it. However, I do like the phrase, and it has special meaning for me because of all this, so I almost always use it online. My real name, if you are wondering, is Nicole. :)

Religious Faith

My faith is so important to me I couldn't resist saying something about it, though I'm extremely bad at explaining what I believe.

To put it as simply as possible: I believe in a God and Goddess, a masculine and feminine aspect of the higher power in this world. I believe that there are many other powers besides Jehovah and Sophia (or whatever names you wish to assign to them) in this world, some with a tendency for good and some the opposite -- all of which should be properly understood and respected, even if we do not wish one or more of those powers to have any influence on us.

I believe that we are also beings with some amount of power, which if we can learn to properly control can be used to help ourselves and others. Or, if we do not learn to control it, power that can inadvertantly do harm to ourselves and others.

I do healing magic/k (let it be known to you by whatever spelling you will), and have not attempted any other. While I don't believe other magick to always be harmful, I prefer to err on the side of caution and have thus far had no reason to use any but healing. I like learning about herb lore, as I feel healing is an ability I should encourage (though not devote my life to), but so far I've not attempted it to any degree more than picking up knowledge of one plant here and another there.

When I have multiple answers listed it's because they are from different quizzes. If the result isn't linked to anything it's because I took it a long time ago and lost the url since then. lol.

You are Form 5, Dragon: The Weaver (Which Mythological Form Are You?)
"And The Dragon seperated the virtuous from the sinful. He tore his eyes from his sockets and used them to peer into the souls of those on trial to make a judgement. He knew that with endless knowledge came endless responsibility."
Some examples of the Dragon Form are Athena (Greek), St. Peter (Christian), and Surya (Indian). The Dragon is associated with the concept of intelligence, the number 5, and the element of wood. His sign is the crescent moon. As a member of Form 5, you are an intelligent and wise individual. You weigh options by looking at how logical they are and you know that while there may not always be a right or wrong choice, there is always a logical one. People may say you are too indecisive, but it's only because you want to do what's right. Dragons are the best friends to have because they're willing to learn.

My midichlorion count is off the charts!

Firm Believer.
You believe and that's that. You don't rub it in people's faces, you just, well, accept it. And that's cool.
